I spent seven years working on digitization projects inside manufacturing factories across Ireland — helping shop floors modernize everything from stock tracking to production reporting. One thing kept standing out: health & safety training hadn't moved with everything else. It was still paper sign-off sheets, one-off in-person sessions, and no real way to prove any of it actually happened.
That was the gap. So I set out to build something better — but not alone. I brought in a health & safety inspector and a handful of manufacturing company CEOs and industry people to help shape the actual course content, so every module reflects real situations that come up on a real shop floor, not generic filler.
To film it properly, I partnered with IMR — Irish Manufacturing Research — and shot the course on-site at their facility in Mullingar. TrainingVideos.ie is also an official PTMA partner, and I've spoken at industry events on training and compliance for manufacturers.
